Sing Karaoke, it is not unusual to have at lease 2 of our hosts singing with us on thier nights off, they spend money over the bar, buy food and may even have a flutter on the pokies, are they welcome ? you better believe they are and they follow the same ettiquette and procedures as everyone else at our shows. So please don't assume that we have 4 hosts working one night ....gees Karaoke doesn't pay that much. However this venue is well known to be slow with only 3 to 5 singers to start the night off, our hosts do join in the rotation and this is generally at the request of customers for variety and entertainment value. Karaoke is not just for the enjoyment of singers but for everyone in the venue, we would not be doing our job fully if we did not consider everyone. We do not sing in rotations once we have 8 singers. As for the song one of the singers wanted to sing...he was advised that the host had been asked to sing it as a special request for a non singer and he was asked if he really minded if the host sang it. He was more than happy with this. So you may have only heard part of a conversation. Have a great time at your next Karaoke, chill out and have fun.
