Jamie Gov December 4 at 6:53am Ohhhh my god, what an AWSOME place to have some fun ! My work mates and I went to the Victory for our early work Christmas Party last Friday night. That place is totally awsome for karaoke and some. We didn't have to wait long at all for our songs to come up. The lady who runs it is very nice and boy can she belt out some tunes. The sound inside the bar is magnificant, they really have the ambiance set perfect ! The mixture of people throughout the hotel is great, everyone seemed to be having a really good time. You can opt for listening to a one man band in the centre bar or out into the beer garden for a 2 to three man covers band. Upstairs they have a comfortable bar at one end and a dance floor at the other with the latest music, if that is something you like. On the same level they also have another room with pool tables and a smoking area for those who smoke. With five different atmospheres it's sure to cater to most peoples taste. All in all i think it is just an awsome place with nice people and great music, even when the bar staff were flat out they could still manage a smile which is rare these days, so many bars I have been to, you find the bar staff have attitude problems when they are really busy but not at the Victory. We spoke to the manager on the nite, Jed his name is from memory, Lovely young chap who's always smiling. He made a point of checking throughout the night that all was well and that we were having a good time, which I can assure you we were. Ten points for the Victory on a great venue with great people and an awsome atmosphere !!! You WON us !!! :-) Chucky
