Perhaps I could ask for no war over this - valuable as every singer's feedback is, this is why we, as singers, are also able to vote with our feet. We also need to accept that not every gig will be run to our taste, and we also need to respect that commercial realities mean that hosts will retain gigs for as long as the venue wants them (I feel a little silly pointing this out), and that venues may well like a certain host because of hidden factors such as they actually turn up on time each week, are loved by the regulars of other nights rather than purely karaoke-devotees of the one night, and that they may just be really easy people with whom to work. I feel keenly that the anonymity of singers on W2S be cherished, but this continuance is also dependant on hosts being shown a degree of gentleness....please.
