Rod puts on a great show with his sometimes bawdy humour. If you are travelling the Otways one weekend and have just got out of Melbourne and want somewhere to go that doesn't have that "Nightclub" atmosphere for a quiet and entertaining drink, I suggest you give this gig a go. The system here is very good with a songlist of about 5500+ songs. Very clear LCD screen in front of singer for lyrics and a Plasma on the wall for the audience. Has a great big foldback speaker thats perfectly in your face for you so you can be guaranteed of getting your pitch as close as you can to right. All drink prices are at the cheaper end of pub prices so it won't cost you the earth either. All visitors are made to feel welcome. The only thing I can say that detracts from anything here is that he does have an acoustics problem in the karaoke area, but I have been assured by Rod that he plans on putting up some thick curtains behind the stage as that area is actually his front window. This though, only affect the audience listening in certain areas and does not detract from the singer's experience. So in short, go along and enjoy yourself and I hope to see you there as I am a regular.
