This karaoke gig runs
weekly 10pm-1am on Thursdays

This is a very clean and well appointed venue. Peter is a great host and it does help that he can sing and has an infectious personality. A couple of things did let it down though, 1. No TV directly facing the singer and 2. The mics were a little sub-standard last night. Other than that, for a compact laptop based system, it was of an exceptional sound quality. Now as this was also my first time there, I did notice a few people were a little cliquey. COME ON GUYS!! We're all there for the same reason and we're all humans, just because we've just found the place doesn't make us aliens! Remember, you need new people coming along and becoming regulars to survive. And from what I saw after about 11:30pm, you need all the new regulars you can get. And Peter, only one critisism, It says 9pm -1am above, would be adviseable to make sure you stick to that considering how many singers you can get on rotation. 10pm start was a bit of a dampener. But please do not read too much negativity into this, Geelong, Colac, Surf Coast and Western Melbourne, get to this venue, support it and make it what it should be and essentially was last night, a fantastic and fun venue!!
