Well, what a difference a week makes...Although the show didn't kick off until 12:30am, and even though there still was only 2 sets, I really don't think there was anymore Laurie could do tonight to get people up singing. He had his rotations spot on, levels right, once again a certain patron who always remains first nameless on here ;) fixed his video splitter (of which he gave the lucky bloke a free drink) and everyone actually looked like they were enjoying themselves. Now, just to clarify things, there was a litle incident before last week's show which I have now learnt caused management to be a bit on edge, hence why they weren't to receptive to patrons asking about their system and upgrades. And for that I can make some small allowances. But now that the dust has settled George & Paul (no not the Beatles!! LOL!) I would seriously consider spending a little time & money on your setup there now that on Fridays, Karaoke (as I believe) will once again be the main focus of your night's entertainment. Laurie seems to have worked it out, so now let's complete the picture and return this venue back to its former Karaoke Glory Days with some modern up-to-date equipment and software!!
