Caz's Magpies experience part (2) See below for part (1) 21/2 hours later we were still waiting. In this time some of the locals had sing 4 times and several had sung back to back songs. The operators were calling them out as they found them......then lo and behold 2 of the operators got up to sing, Mr Hawaiian shirt sang 2 songs back to back!!! When they had finished I went to ask if it was their usual practice to sing in the middle of a set when there were obviously so many patrons who had not sung yet and Mrs Hawaiian shirt said, "Oh, we just thought we would sneak ourselves in"!!! I wanted to leave there and then but hubby said No we had waited long enough, surely we would be up soon....actually it was another 55 mins and some of the 4x's singers had sung a 5th time while we waited! As the night came to a close we were eventually called up and as if you thought I couldn't whinge about anything else.........my song was the cheapest, tinniest version of it that I have ever heard, mix that with a loud blast of feedback and all up it was probably the most disappointing night of karaoke I have ever had!
