Well... Last night was apparently the second week this gig had been running, so one could hope that the first week jitters had been ironed out. Host seemed nice enough but when arrived just after 7pm, she was still setting up. Quite a few Asians (both male and female) were slowly filtering down and about a dozen people were in the room by about 7:20pm, things looked good. Then, all of a sudden, they all piled onto the dance floor (right next to the karaoke console) and, being lead by an instructor, began a a dance class. Well, I have to say, was a little shocked... lol. Host said she didn't know about it, karaoke wouldn't start for another 20 min. That's a 7:45pm start. Very bad form of the venue to pull this crap, allowing a dance class to disrupt and entertainment that you're *paying for*! I left to head over to St Patrick's Tavern. With the competition from St Pat's and now Roof Bar, Cheers can't afford to dick people around.
