This karaoke gig runs
weekly 8:30pm-unknown on Fridays

The Old Spot was the first karaoke venue I every visited after feeling that I had 'graduated' from (being becoming bored with) Singstar! LOL! It is therefore a venue very close to my heart! The gig features good quality sound, mixing and singer rotation, and a comprehensive list of songs to choose from...the singers (who I assume are regulars given their resounding support from the crowd!) and the others brave enough to get up the nights I have been there were excellent! A great Friday night U18's venue for any aspiring young singer (or seasoned professional keen to keep up with practise!)... only down side I guess (at least when I went) was that the song listing was a bit dated and not very current (only important for those that want to perform (or hear) current stuff!).... this may have changed in recent times however.... I have not been for a little while as Fridays is not real good for me (that is the only reason!). Great, easy to find venue (right on Main North Road just north of Salisbury) - good size, and appreciative, supportive, crowd (around 30-50) ....a great Friday night for any aspiring singer wanting to get an appreciation of how it feels to sing live! Will definitely head back soon if I get a Friday night off!
