'Tool Of The Week' award regrettably goes to me this week.... had been a very long day with a very early start at the Adelaide Xmas Pageant and then drinking all afternoon/evening with my BIL Matt. We headed to the Kingsford for a sing... I got up and sang CC's Karma Chameleon which I know really well and always have fun with - having a great time singing and lots of people were having a good time dancing & singing along... don't know whether I was just stuffed, still half drunk, or a combo, but near the end of the song, the music stopped and I thought 'Bugga, something's wrong with the music...' so I just kept soldiering on and singing the chorus a capella and the crowd stayed with me, though some did have some strange looks.... I was half expecting Shaggy to bring the music back in after 'fixing it' but that never happened.... it soon became pretty obvious to me that I had just kept singing after the song had actually finished... bugga.... how embarrasing, I must have looked like some sort of self indulgent wannabe diva type singing solo - I hope the K crowd did not think that, I just got carried away and stuffed up! I must pay more attention to the lyrics monitor next time even on songs I think I know, especially after a big day.... oh well.... it was good fun though... ! Hope everyone else had a good time too.
