From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 8pm-11:30pm on Fridays BT: Nothing was wrong. The mixer wasn't sending the signal out of the RHS Main Out channel so we took the signal out of the LHS channel, fed it into the LHS speaker and then out of that speaker and into the RHS speaker. The end result from an audio quality perspective was exactly the same. The only difference between that and the normal signal distribution is that instead of the RHS signal going through the RHS speaker and the LHS signal going through the LHS speaker is that the LHS signal went through both speakers and the RHS signal wasn't present. This only impacts on the rare tracks where there is a musical presence only on the RHS channel and doesn't impact the mic signal at all. If this is what Scotty was referring to, all her had to do when I asked "can you be more specific" was to say "one or two tracks were missing an instrument" and the matter would have rested. Instead, he decided it would be better to go on a week long rant which benefits nobody. I'm 100% in favour of patrons raising issues because I can't fix problems I don't know about. Scotty however has still not raised an issue and so I don't know what it is I'm supposed to fix for him.
