No born2sing it was not sour grapes on my part...it was purely a comment on you running the venue! In fact, was it Natalie your boss who came and helped with setup and adjusted the speakers so there was good sound throughout the room and showed you where the mixer should be set etc and as soon as she left you changed everything because you think you know better! How arrogant! Perhaps this is why you confused legitimate critiscism with sour grapes! If I was doing sour grapes it would read more like the comments of spectator. Spectater was correct in most of their post, you did change the format/rules to accomodate 3rd who was running late. we recieved a phone call from Natalie on Tuesday to confirm that we needed to be there by 7.00pm to accomodate the format of 2 songs per singer but I guess since winners were mates/favourites of yours rules can be changed to allow this. I would also have added that karaoke IS about singing! It is hard for true ammetuers to compete with "short black skirts and stilletos, and trendy young guys getting 7 or 8 little girls siiting up the front waving flames in the air while he sang Helelujah. You constantly in the weeks leading up to the final and while we waited for the final to actually start spoke in a manner as if you were making excuses for the winning selections you had already made. That Colin is what I would have written if it was about sour grapes!
