If you are going to make a false claim on me Colin, sorry, "born2sing" - I will defend myself. My original comment was purely as part of requirements for accessing this site. You claimed it as sour grapes so I showed you what a case of sour grapes would entail. You are well known for your inability to accept crtiscism, so many people have walked out of gigs you host because of your obstinance and arrogance! I watched you walk over and adjust the speakers back out after Natalie adjusted them in! I watched you stand on the floor and tell the girl at the mixer who to turn up and enhance, and who to turn down and sound worse, songs and performers you personally liked got the preferential treatment of course. I didnt originally comment with "sour grapes" because personally I had none! I didnt actually expect to win, I didnt even expect to make top ten, I almost went home after the first couple of singers performed as I knew I had no chance! I am not, however, going to tell other singers that you do a perfect job when I know it not to be true! If you read my first comment properly, you would have understood this, I even said that despite my critiscism it was still worth a visit! The sour grapes as expressed by "spectator" and also by a number of other contestants and supporters on the night are a good summary of what went on. I felt bad for a couple of other contestants who I and many others felt were way better than the "winners" on the night, not for myself. I would also add that indeed I hope that 3rd does well in the state final, I thought he was excellent! Good luck to all in the state final, lets hope you've worked it out by then!
