From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 8:30pm-1am on Saturdays Very good compere but forget fair rotation. The compere is not the sound/disc operator who arrogantly said he chooses singers based on his whim. Unattractive women were sucking up to him to bump singers. Obviously he did. With this miniscule amount of power technician goes power mad during karaoke! I'd hate to see him with a bit more power. Second time we encountered a sound technician who had much, much less personality than the chair I am currently sitting on. Hosts, given the job imvolves interacting with people, should employ those with some people skills. Consider McDonalds: Would it be successfull if customers were bumped off and served according to someone's whim? As for Frank, he ai'nt dancin and he ain't singin. He can hardly walk for God's sake! He however croakes very, very, very, very painfully. At least 3 times in 3 hours (while a very good singer who was with me sang 1 song in 3 hours). The CIA should recruit Frank. I would guess that the comment below was made by the operator himself. Oops! Maybe Frank is his dad!
