Stellar Performances All night long As the song goes "Oh what a night" Petrie Hotel is really starting to hot up. Not just with the comp singers but with all the wonderful general singers and crowd that support this venue week in week out. Congratulations to the winners of heat 6 going through to the final on Febrauary the 25th. In 1st place was Tammy Truscott, 2nd place was Narins Tither and because of a cancellation from a previous week we have 3 going through Trish Lyons was placed 3rd. The audience choice contestant we will be seeing on the 25th is Jay Falla. Go the girls. The judges had a really tough job with some out standing performances. The biggest of thankyous to our judges, fantastic as always plus a big hug to Lyn for your help as well with all the adding up of marks. The normal karaoke was a bonza Some new faces, Kris Angel and Julie showing even more girl power. Ross Luke and Lance almost managed to hold up the male side hehehe can you tell who is doing this? Had a little visit from David K nice to see you shame we didnt get to talk or introduce ourselves to you. But at least one of the other karaoke hosts that visit our gigs kept you occupied lol. Nice to Nathan from the bar get up and belt one out. We really think that the management should show the staff how it's done hey KAREN? The supporters and dancers were full on and you all nearly have the drum roll at the end of the night down pat. Swampy (a visiter from the Siberian circus) really had fun and kept us entertained with his mouth organ. He also took out the singers prize. All in all another fantastic night. Keep it up guys you are making this a great night for all getting better and better every week. Till next week keep safe, sing everyday and remember keep it real.
