Just some extra info that may help . In selecting songs for our rigs we choose to use premium brands.I purchase brands in full sets from capital karaoke and Baz has always been of great help. 5 or more versions of the same song can offen be found in all the quality brands . We do not use brands of backing tracks that are not of reasonable quality, if the tune is not available in a decent track then we rather not have it . We have done alot of work to support the purchasing of legal tracks. We do not allow anything but original disk to be used at shows and thumb drives can not be used for reasons already mentioned. I am sure most host do something similar to the way we do it. If our host finds that your music is not suitable to play . Eg may be a copy then in order to not make you feel uncomfortable we offen will give you another reason for not playing your disk. We are not able to say " sorry mate but your disk /or music is a copy . One we wish not to debate with you on you night of fun or accuse you of bringing copy music to our show. We also have spent tens of thousands of dollars on our music and proud to support companies like capital Karaoke by purchasing 100 per cent of our music from them. We also promote them to our singers.
