Whats going nuts at the PETRIE So whats going nuts at the PETRIE I ask< Karaoke thats what! Saturday nite was slow for the first 10 min or so then bam straight into karaoke Funda style. With the warm ups over you singers started to rock the house as usual. With our regulars, The Three Amigos (Pete, Andy, Chris), Rockin Reg, Vic, Bec, Sharon,Lance, Jules and (the list is getting to big to type), all the new faces,we had a great nite. Sorry to have to upset a few patrons with our new policy of NO SINGERS DISCS, but there are some very complcated reasons behind this decision. By way of making amends we encourage our singers to give us a list of songs they sing that we don't have and we'll endevour to add them to our lists. The process isn't fast but it does happen. NOW the big news is a fancy dress hillbilly/redneck nite on the 25th of march, prizes for the best dressed donated by Bundaberg Rum and everyone that sings a song in this theme will get a small prize as well. Our next comp starts on the 1st april 2006 (this will be one of the most challenging in Brisbane). For more info on the comp come on down to the Petrie Hotel on a Saturday night and collect the format and registration paperwork from Tricia at the sound desk.
