From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 9pm-12:30am on Saturdays "Starseeker.TV has nothing to do with me or the Club, although the Club allows Michael to hand out brochures to those in the audience inviting them to record a clip at a studio." Unfotunately that is not the case, Star Seeker is actively displayed on a big bright white star to the left of the stage, near the very end of the show select winners going through to the Grand final are given Star seeker Vouchers for a free session at one of their studios, and a chance at winning $1000, during the evening there are excerpts of videos displayed on both the big TV above the stage and on the wall to the right of the stage of people videoed at Star seeker, less audio. This is just a little bit more than just handing out vouchers... At least three of the Star seeker videos displayed were of two people who attended the other venue before going to your venue and who contacted your show via mobile telephone, the other people who I observed at the other venue who were able to sing at your venue were also Star Seeker patrons. given the duration of the show, the average length of a song, the break for the dancing, it would equate to approx 10% of the singers who did not attend this venue until almost their time to sing, and that is only the people I observed. how do I know, I was at one venue then went to this venue, and I know the people. I do enjoy going to this show but definately do not like the way the singers list is conducted.
