Roz,so you know me,is that supposed to intimidate me? I will still voice my oppinion of this venue if you know me or not.I have not knocked this show because of past grievences I had with George,I take it you are refering to the episodes where he and his staff have fun at other peoples expense especially the intellectually and physically handicapped.well that was quite a while ago and they dropped those antics,thankgoodness .I have written about this venue because George needs to get off his stool in the pokies (smoking area) and see what everyone else can see is happening to his show and get new staff who can take their jobs seriously before he starts losing his gigs (and I,m not referring to Mick). we were all good friends once .When I used to go there regularly we had the best fun,it was a really good show ,but what has happened ?,even you must be able to see its been a change for the worse. Most times I ,ve been there,there were only about 12 to 14 singers, after all these years at the same club the following should be better than that.of course when the competitions are on then the club is full, that ,then should speak for itself that there is a problem.As for talking to George about anything to do with his show I know a singer who was there a few weeks ago and commented to the female operator that she had a (good) sound,she told George and whatever she related to him made him call my friend over and he blasted him and told him to keep his oppinions to himself.So there doesn,t seem much point in telling George anything eh.The thing is that all his shows are going the same way.Whats the answer?. by the way it does,nt help when members of the audience dance around and clap to try and put a bit of life into the show then they get called clowns by the host , who even calls them this at other peoples venues .how professional is that?.
