This karaoke gig runs
weekly 8pm-1am on FridaysGreetings one and all. Goodness been a looooooooooong time since I have posted anything on this forum, but anywhoo here it goes..
Gaz's and Kylie's (Gaza's new squeeze - shhhhhh don't tell Di ) show is top notch, been a while since I have seen a show this good, yes I grant you that you do only get 2 or 3 songs during the night, it is completely fair and unbiased, and won't let anyone 'push-in' (trust me I have tried - being one of the longest serving patrons of their show at Chatswood RSL thought may have given me some advantage but NOPE no chance.. Gaz does say he 'might' do it but usually the answer is no).
But i'm one not to complain. I LOVE to sing and enjoy it immensely at Chatswood RSL, RSK does have an IMMENSE songlist, with new songs coming in every week (or two). So the battle to choose a new song is always difficult but at least you HAVE a excellent choice to choose from. Normally myself if I don't get to do a few songs (i.e. 3 - 4 or more songs) in one night 8pm - 1am = 4hrs I usually only go to such gigs now and then. But Gaz and Kylie's show is FANTASTIC, and they are great friends and Gaz of all people have seen me from a shy little fellow, till what I have done in the recent past.
I would not swap em for anyone else. Made lots and lots of great friends at chatswood rsl. So if you are looking for a GREAT night out with good food, good drinks, and FANTASTIC people and Friends, come along to the show and have a look (and with enough dutch courage) a song or two.
