Hi, Just found this website and it's very good. I have been to this gig as well as some gigs owned by Rob Deal. Grumpys is not a bad gig, and it has a reasonable songlist. Sound isn't bad either. I think 'Nada' and whoever else should be able to sing or scream however they like as thats what Karaoke is all about. If you want to hear a professional singer, go to a show or watch a band. Karaoke is for the amateur person looking for fun. What would Kellys be without Carl who always has a bit of a scream and some people go there just to watch him for a laugh. The regulars are there every week and I don't think people who just pop in for a change of scenery should make judgement calls. I am a fan of both Rob (Wed) and Mike (Fri) who both give the newies a fair go whilst ensuring the regulars aren't fobbed off. It's very busy there and yet still remains fair. I do know Grumpys can favour their regulars but the last time I went I found the rotation much fairer and improved. Well done Vicky.
