From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs:
This karaoke gig runs
weekly 8pm-11pm on Thursdays

Popped in 29/09. Place is really easy to find, but it's at the other end of The Rocks (directly under the Harbour Bridge). Follow George St right til the end where it meets Lower Fort Street, pub is directly on the left. Place reminds me of some of the pubs in the inner west. Not quite a bar but feels better than a singlet and stubbies pub. Combination of high tables and lounges. $5 mini pizzas! Song list was a fair size but mostly geared towards pop. Heaps of Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, only 3 songs by The Beatles (wtf?). Song rotation set up was a little strange. Guy on the sound also announces, girl on the list - she writes your songs down herself. I don't get the feeling as though they talk to each other as there was always a delay between songs, as if the next track had not been pre-loaded. Also, your second song is put up once everyone has done their first song regardless of when they put it up. This means your second and subsequent songs may take a while. Stage and minimal lights, corded mics. No foldback, but not really needed as the speakers are directly behind you to your right and left so you can hear pretty well. Night I was there they had a huge crowd of backpackers on a pub crawl, so I couldn't really comment on regulars and vibe of the room as it'll probably be vastly different on "normal" nights. Would give it another go but the "pop"y list and the unusual song rotation worries me.
