weekly 8pm-Midnight on FridaysThe Jan 05 review was written by myself amd it's best to ignore it now because the host has changed and the gig is now far inferior to what it used to be.
The good: List is of a decent size (but is sorted by song title), venue is located very conveniently. Audience is very relaxed and genuinely has a good time.
The bad: The host runs his gig as if he was presiding over private function and spends too much time between songs being "chatty" with the crowd. The guy thinks he's funny and really isn't. I find the sound to be overly loud with not enough mic volume. This results in not being able to hear yourself properly. Crowd is almost 100% singers, so an extreme wait for your next song. You're very lucky to get more than 2 songs in the 4 hours. To give you an idea, my three songs came in at 8:40, 10:05 and 11:40 and I got there at 7:40!
