This karaoke gig runs
weekly 9pm-11:30pm on Saturdays

This appears to be the premier Saturday night venue for the area running 9pm - 2pm. It's reliably run by a host with a great rock voice and packed with singers. The rotation ensures you'll get a couple of songs and then a long break while another group gets their couple of songs. Expect around 3-4 songs over the night with each round bracketed by a song from the host and always greatly appreciated by the crowd. There are no dance breaks or music between singers (perhapes should be I think) but the night still flows well.

Songlist, sound and lighting are all great and geared towards rock & pop with the sound kept at an appropiate volume so you don't need to wear ear-plugs. Crowd is very friendly and gets into it although euthusiastic applause understandably drops off as the last drops from the beer-glass take a hold. In essence, this seems to be the much-loved karaoke local for many people in the area and they'd love you to join them!
