This place is brilliant. It has that "Cheers" kind of feel. Everyone is really friendly and there are people of all ages. I was very surprised at how many really good singers there are here. It was like going to watch a great band that sings every song you like. A masive list of songs to choose from and lots and lots of recent top 40 songs. It is a good thing they have such a lot of songs, because the age of the singers were from fresh out of the box to those that look like they are just about to get into a box. The Sound was excellent!! Adrian is a friendly host, who kept the singers moving quickly so that everyone had a chance to sing. He helped out singers who were struggling a bit but he never took over. It finnishes dead on 12pm but if this venue had a longer licence i believe it could have continued till 1pm and beyond. They had a competition running on the night that i believe runs every week and there were also drink cards given out too throughout the night. I think the song list is more that the 4000+ written above. I didnt see any music breaks myself, and i prefer a venue that doesnt have music breaks but that is only my personal opinion. I will be back as soon as i can. If this venue is an indication of other "The Party People" run nights then I think they would be worth looking at too.
