From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 6pm-10pm on Sundays Ah yes, I know some of the ones that this singer is talking about. These people are good with the negative comments about the singers who they think are not that good, but do they get up and sing themselves?? No they don't. Perhaps someone should tell them to put up or shut up!! The Halloween night was fairly good, Joe was on the sick list which was a pity as he was supposed to be dressing in drag, so we missed out on that one. Mick dressed as Blackbeard the Pirate (complete with talking bird (not a read one but a life size toy one), Reanna donned part of the gear that I took in to wear and then decided against it, so she had the Dracula cape, long (LONG!!) wig, and tiara on and looked like Mortica out of the Addams Family. Mick said that there were 32 singers last night, so that was a good crowd, the stage was partially decorated with cottonwool cobwebs, spiders, bats, skeletons and other Halloween paraphanalia (big word, did I spell it the right way??) All in all a fairly good night. I don't know if any more theme nights are being planned before Christmas, the Country and Western nights are always popular there, but I know that the Christmas Eve show will be a good one and (fortunately or unfortunately - depends on how you look at it) Christmas is only 8 weeks away.
