From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs every second week 7pm-11pm on Thursdays If you're over 55, this place will suit you down to the ground. Around 10 - 30 crowd, song list partial to the golden oldies, sound is okay and loud enough for the hard of hearing. Pub atmosphere, which personally I abhor. When I hear club, I expect to walk into a nicely carpeted room and see people smartly dressed and seated at clean tables with comfy chairs. The only thing here remotely like a club is the price of their drinks. The calibre of singers is low and lower still because most of the time they are too intoxicated to get through their songs without torturing the near sober members of the audience. I don't know, karaoke is going to the dogs. It's getting harder and harder to find a nice place with bubbly, enthusiastic folk who love to sing from the heart and meet other singers who share their passion.
