A Grand Final - A slow night, not a big crowd- NO WAY. The place was Jumping right from the start with Jaimi and Gary starting off the night with a duet of amazed and then to set the mood, Celebration and celebrate they did. The crowd from start to finish didn't go under 80 and the bulk of the night saw between 90 and 130 in the place. It is the first time we had so many new faces asking when the next comp was on as the singers were awesome, the entertainment factor was extremly high. Well done to all the singers, ROZ DANIELLL , CHEYANNE HALMOS, DANIEL FULTHORP, KIRSTY BLAKE, GRANT DANIEL, SHANNON NUGENT, FRED BRYANT, DEE FLEMMING, ALYSIA FINN-BROWN, JOHN ANGEL, NIKI DEVIC, IVY FRASER, MAXINE AGNEW, EVAN JONES, JAIMI DANIELL, SAMANTHA DEVIC The stand out songs with the crowd were; Driving my life away, Mony Mony, Breathe, Just l ========== THE FOLLOWING IS OVER THE 2000 LETTERS LIMIT ========== ke Jesse James, Pleasure and Pain, Roadhouse Blues, She Bangs, Jump, Hey Baby, Working Clas Man and Black. So who came first; Dee Flemming won $500 for the ladies and Fred Bryant won the $500 for the guys. A huge thanks to Gary and Neena who help me judge the night and also to the crowd that got behind their fave singer and voted. The night finished off with a normal round of karaoke, poor Jaimi got hammered at the desk whilst we were adding marks, poor thing had 15 people all wanting to put up a song at once. He certainly earned his wages tonight. The last song of the night was Old time Rock and Roll and you could'nt move on the dance floor, and after chants of one more, one more Zuit Zuit Riot ( Gary must of had ants in his pants, he is a bundle of energy and a great crowd pleaser) and so the night come to a close. Upcomming are Xmas fancy dress night on the 23rd December and the New Years Eve Party on December 31st with fun games and prizes. Tricia and Jaimi.
