This gig was one of the only gigs I have been to over Chrissy that actually extended its hours over the holiday season. Non smoking area with lounges and high tables. Pool tables in the same area so you are not losing the crowd and oh, one of my fave things....a "Who wants to be a millionaire" machine too!! Ok, back to karaoke....Songlist is great, you can take your own discs, Miss Vicki is spot on with her rotation as always and there is no need for fold back here. Plenty of dancers and clappers and singers from every genre and every level of talent are greeted with the same enthusiasm. I would like the lights dimmed and the show to have disco lights for a little bit more atmosphere but , oh well, that's just personal. The crowd here is fairly transient so you get fresh singers. There is also a core body of regulars but they don't just sing the same three songs each week (well some do but....you gotta have those right?) I personally love the food here and it is very reasonable too. Mostly Asian cuisine with some chicken maryland stuff as well, but why would you bother! Barstaff and security are welcoming and unobtrusive. Security will walk ladies to their car if they are a little farther away from the pub...no charge!!
