From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 7pm-11pm on Thursdays Visited this pub last night, I've been there before for a Grand Final of a talent contest some time ago, this is one pub that could do a lot with the lounge that they hold karaoke in, and yet although there is a lot of seating, it is mainly on bar type stools, there is some lounge seating available, but the lounges are very low set and would prove uncomfortable for people with back problems. This show has excellent karaoke equipment, I noticed that Bojo had two players running simultaneously, and I can't really put my finger on what it is that lets this show down. I don't know if it is a lack of regular singers or what it is. I did not see any "big and excellent foldback speaker" there was a small one on the floor, and there were cord microphones not the cordless ones as in the ad on top of this listing. The stage left a lot to be desired, no step up to it and it was nearly a meter off the ground, for people with back or leg problems getting up and down off this "temporary stage" proved difficult.and possibly if there is no permanent stage, then maybe it would be better off not having a stage area at all. I have seen a lot of karaoke shows held in both clubs and pubs that don't use an actual "stage". The restaurant at this venue does have excellent food but it is expensive. The sound itself had too much echo for my liking, but Bojo did make use of the pub's large screen TV for the audience to watch the graphics.
