From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 7:30pm-11:30pm on Saturdays Pub is set on the main road out of town, large sprawling place with several bars, eating area etc. Karaoke is held in the main bar which has an adjacent outdoor seating area. The lady host runs a tight ship, and woe betide anyone who steps over the markings on the carpet that define the singers' area. The songlist is about 2000 songs, all the normal hits, and the sound is good. Strangely there seems to be no FX or reverb on the vocals, and most singers are just locals having a go and holding the mic far too close. The resident crowd is probably about 20-40, but this night there was a pub-crawl lot in,swelling the numbers by a further 30-40. Good security here, and needed - only two fights this night, and only one of them serious; many other pushing and threatening words, so this is not a place for the faint-hearted despite the pleasant suroundings and what seemed like a permanent Police presence. A good mix of ages here, and a good mix of song genres. Well worth a visit, but remember to smile at everyone and keep well clear of the ever moving war zones.
