Good sound, friendly hosts and local regular supporters who make one feel most welcome. The lighting is ideal especially for the rockers out there. Interesting setup as the singers and listeners are mostly in the adjoining area, due to the smoking and the lighting that helps them to have a great ol' catchup, so one can feel alone on stage, but merely joining them to chat is not a problem. Hosts instantly reacts favorably to help people with key changes, so they know their music and the importance of looking after the customers requests. One has the opportunity to sing about 4 songs. Locals have another venue nearby, and most of the customers have no qualms about fully supporting both, depending on their schedule. (Same hosts) Reckon this is yet another great Sydney metro venue. Close to station and food is readily available at neighbouring restaurants and takeaways, which the pub does not mind if you take in. If one can it is a must to visit. A new smoking courtyard is about to be opened soon. A guy of African descent is a must to see, great voice....as is the host who sings commendably a rendition of James Blundel's (sp?) So Beautiful. Voice quality across the board is very good.
