A singer has emailed me this, and ask that it is posted: I attended the Gemini Comfort Inn on Banna Avenue in Griffith New South Wales tonight and what a fun and impressive night it was. The karaoke runs between 9pm and midnight every Wednesday. When I got there everything was set up and It turned out I was first on. I was a little nervous but the host and everybody was very supportive. After me was a girl with an amazing voice. For the first half hour there were only about three or four singers but a very supportive crowd who made the singing really enjoyable. The host was also very encouraging going into the crowd persuading people to sing. He seemed really enthusiastic and somebody who really enjoys his job. The sound system is pretty good and a lot better than I have seen in most venues in the bigger cities. The song list is pretty impressive too with up-to-date pop music and Aussie classics. Perhaps one recommendation is to have more song books available as I only saw two. Later on there were many more singers. Everyone was really friendly and supportive and I highly the recomment the Gemini Comfort Inn in Griffith. Check it out.
