The first night at the Payneham Tavern for Shaz and Rohan was a great success. The venue is great and the change to the new location went well. As usual Shaz drew a large contingent of singers to the Tavern, there were about 25 singers and a very good crowd of family and spectators. The atmosphere was very friendly, as a large number of the singers came because their previous Thursday night venue hosted by Shaz, was closed down by new owners. As usual Shaz and Rohan presented a professional and entertaining evening of Karaoke. This certainly continues the successful and popular shows that Shaz creates. Any one that wants to sing Karaoke on a Thursday night could do no better than turn up at the Payneham Tavern. The sound as usual was excellent and the in house large screen allowed the audience to see the words clearly. The venue is family friendly, has plenty of space, low tables and lounge chairs, as well as normal bar tables and stools. The drinks are very reasonably priced, (in fact I find them pretty cheap) and I found the staff very friendly. Their is also a large separate dining room. (Haven't tried the food yet, but soon will). I was a singer at Shaz's previous venue, and think this is equally as good if not better as a Karaoke Venue. Come on give it a go. Will post again as the show settles in.
