Greengate Karaoke is pretty wild at times. The hosts are such characters with reasonably good singing talent & skills. According to the website, the Greengate Karaoke should have started at 8:30pm but for some reason when you come to Greengate, the gig actually either starts at 9:30pm or later that evening. Due to lack of karaoke singers, the hosts just brings in a group of karaoke virgins to encourage them to hang out, as well as giving away Drink & Food Vouchers all night long. The atmosphere can be very rowdy at times as most frequent visitors are locals who enjoy spending time with friends. The venue itself is remote from the city. Drinks could be a bit pricy but overall the crowd loves the atmosphere. My only concern at this stage is the fact the Hosts seem to allow singers to bring their drinks on stage. A bit risky for me personally but hey, the security is around to assist.
