The BVT at Bald Hills. It always seems to turn into a party every Friday night and the crowd that turns out to the Bonny View are really fun to be around. Every week sees us with more friends and singers to welcome to the show. One little drama was the week Krissy and Gary filled in for us as we got called away on business. It started out to be a cracker with the place packed and rocking when some “person” (insert your own description of “person”) decided to smoke the place out with a smoke flare or such and cleared the place. It’s a credit to the crowd, management, security and staff that no one was hurt and after a short time the restaurant was available with music, but the night was short as far as karaoke was concerned. We had a slightly slower night the following week but it is picking up again. The last Friday of the month at the Bonny View is our theme night and this month the Halloween special saw quite a few in costume with Jesters, nerds, vampires, wolf man, pirates of the Caribbean, and others amongst the crowd, Carrie was a pretty woman and witches ruled. Shannon the little devil, won best costume and everyone had a ball (I love dress up hahahaha) I would also like to welcome a new member to the Funda crew “Jaime” we are going to train him up (you know fetch, sit, roll over lmao) so you will see a lot more of him. Congratulations to all our singer prize winners, trivia winners, and others.
