Kattatonic, many thanks for your comments, and people's opinions are taken on board, but not blantant criticism (as in the first post I responded to) that is untrue. As far as getting complacent and paranoid, this is not in my vocabulary, as I know I do a job well, and if others have a problem thats their concern not mine...In my years of Karaoke I have always put the patrons first and in most cases it is appreciated. Shaggy & I (and any other operator I work with) do work hard together to give patrons as many songs as possible, with a very honest rotation, at the same time still keeping a happy atmosphere in the show. We are at the Payneham Tavern on Tuesday night, not to compete with Thursday but to create another good night for the hotel & patrons, and it will build up gradually, given a fair go by everyone! So please, subject closed as we are not here for a slinging match and my previous points, like yours, entitled me, the host to defend Shaggy, myself & the venue. All have a good night tonight..I have to run as I have a show to host... Thanks Margi
