Sad news with one of our most loyal regulars passing away on Thursday the 8th November. Margie has been a regular at our show from when we started some 8 years ago. Every week she would sing her couple of songs, such as Abba, "I do I do I do", "Rivers of Babylon "and her most favourite song "Stand by Your Man". She was a Knox Club Icon at Karaoke at 71 years of age. Loved her singing and dancing. Margie suffered a heart attack a few months ago and has not been able to attend Karaoke as she was in and out of hospital. On Saturday the 3/11 she sang "Stand by your Man"f rom her wheelchair at her table, oxygen tank and all, the whole room joined in and everyone was cheering for her. Sadly she then passed on the Thursday of the same week, it was as if she came on the Saturday to farewell all her friends. We will miss her very much. She was a kind and loving person and never had a bad word to say about anyone, she was also our biggest advocate for our Karaoke show and always told new people she met at other places to come to the Knox Club Karaoke on a Saturday night.
