I once went to this venue, about 12 months ago and I thought they had a cover charge then too. There was definitely a membership fee which entitled you to entry to the club only and you had to join even though my address was out in NSW and my friend paid too as his was in the area so perhaps that is the cover charge referred too?? Although I had to also pay a seperate one just to get into the Karaoke when I went and coming from NSW I found that a bit rough. Interestingly I also went to another venue in the mornington area who also had a cover charge. That was a pub and it was $9 and there was three of us so exxy. Is it a VIC thing?. I do admit however that Karaoke is ever changing and I know the details can change week to week even at my favourite NSW venues. I also vote for one of the top ten venues but I didn't think this venue was a top three venue either, sorry, reason being too regular focused and a bit alienating for a new person but it been a while since I went. And to prove I went there, the Karaoke is on the right when you walk in the front door. You also gave out drink vouchers which you could only use in one of the bars. Pokies on the left.... I played them too. (LOL). Just thought I'd add my bit as where2singers do... Congrats anyway, people obviously like you and thats why your here.
