4) "wow" the big one, You must sing correctly an key, the correct words,(take into account that some put there own swing on a song, or michanical prob with equip) thats out of singers control, All up I believe the prize money & Managment should expect all these quialities in any comp. However I never speak for other judges this is only my exspectaions & cannot sway or interfer with the judges scores (however not in this comp but in other comps some judges including myself have been approched over the years to sway our scores to another contestant, but believe me any managment or host that tries that stunt with me gets a big (####) of me, I know in this comp those judges would have had the same veiw.) So im very sorry that some have their noses out of joint, putting those type of comments on a venue & host can be very damaging, As I will openly say " NO" their was no fixing with this comp it was who was best on the night, & am very disapointed & saddened on these comment, as I can say I knew 95% on the patrons their that night personally & thought were also friends, I never thought they would exspect me as a judge would ever think of allowing any of those comments to happen While I was a judge, as I have been where you are for many years myself, (maybe thats why I am approached to judge many comps for many companys as my thoughts for a honest judge playes a big part in my scorring, & who I judge for. Please if you were a contestant take into account some of my judging hints & what i look for & practice them or come ask for our judging comments on your singing/act, it may help you in your next comp.By the way I am not tone deaf, I dont drink alcohol so im never drunk, I never speak to other judges or confer while judging, I give 100% of my attention to every contestant, I dont smile or tap my feet/hand, I always applaud a contestant good or bad. So please dont give Steve or Larry Or this venue a wide birth they are a friendly lot, C NEXT COMMENT
