From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs: This karaoke gig runs weekly 7pm-11pm on Saturdays Edinburgh was really busy on Mardi Gra night and instead of looking after the regular singers by doing the rotation of one old, 2 new, like most other Karaoke teams do, the karaoke team let us down and when one of the regular singers brought it up with Rob Deal who was there on the night,Rob choose to offend the regular singers who ended up walking out and will never support this Karaoke venue again, the regular singers have been there dinking and spending there money at this venue all night and supporting the Karaoke team and all we want in return is a fair deal. I don't think it is to much to ask. Steve the techie was asked several times when they would be up nex,t not by me but by other reg singers and they were told you are 5 singers away that became 10 and so on. They never got to sing again when they could have if it was run correctly. When Rob walked in he got up and did a song in amongst this mess, take a back seat mate that put alot of the regulars off side. It was just not the right thing to do at the time. We really like this venue and the host Deny is great. It is a shame that Rob Deal reacted in such a shameful manner. There are more deserving Karaoke venues around that we support that do the right thing by us regular singers. I was told by Rob Deal that my husband and I are the saddest people he has ever met at Karaoke and to get a life. We enjoy a well run Karaoke and the social side of meeting other people who sing, I think Rob Deal needs to get a new attitude towards the singers that support his Karaoke team.... :( elly Find out which karaoke venue this feedback was written about, and read more singers' feedback as well as giving your own feedback on karaoke gigs you've visited, on Where2sing.com . . . |
