Having read the previous competition comments it seems that the host is very aware that her competitions are rigged towards locals. She espouses all this ethicalness yet at the recent final the same issues were there. This time she also had a competitor in it who is advertised as a contracted host for her company. She is also very unaware of talent quests! There are numerous still going in Sydney, you do not have to have an agent, you don't have to be a member at the clubs at all, when you order your sheet music they will give it in the key you generally ask for, and for around $100 you can get 3 or four songs on charts that can be used over and over making them worthwhile. And the judging was in the hands of the host and management and Sandy reported this herself! As for being tone deaf, it would seem that age has caught up on this host and she should really get that checked. Her levels of music are way too loud and mixing between backing music and vocals was terrible, even after being asked by patrons to change consistently. My view is that this host is living in the past (I have been in all the talent quests and comps blah blah) but I doubt she won many!! Her website certainly does not show her to be that professional. And her actions on the night were unprofessional and unethical!
