weekly 8pm-1am on Thursdays

I gotta tell ya, and I mean this in no personal, disrespectful way, but this is a horrible venue these days. We haven't been here is a few years due to living overseas, but b4 we relocated OS, this was our Thursday night thing and we loved it. Great Karaoke - ROVICS? They were there for years? - Great staff, great crowd, fun and pumping. And needless to say, we pumped a lotta jack in to this place - good house wine back then, ya see, lol. BACK THEN.......being the operative words :-( But, Alas, recently went for some Karaoke and some dinner, and we were so disappointed. Quality, sound, atmoshpere - terrible. Food in the restaurant......rip off. We ate our over priced and small serving of dinner and then had to run over to Maccas to grab a combo meal cuz I was still hungry, afer spending $27 on just my main meal at the ACT....not happy Jan. Then to top it off, the Karaoke........there were maybe 10 people in the bar, arguing, yelling and carrying on over the pool tables, not a nice atmosphere and the sound was crap. At first we didn't realise there was any Karaoke......the problem with down time I guess. We didn't even bother staying. Unfortunately, its our local, so now we have to travel outside of our area to find some good Karaoke, never had to do that before. When the ACT brings back the hosts that they had there for years, we, along with our crowd of 25+ Karaoke junkie friends will be back. Come on ACT..............get it together.
