From the Where2sing.com singers' feedback on karaoke gigs:
This karaoke gig runs
weekly 8:30pm-unknown on Thursdays

Yes, the Bill Masters 2008 KWC Show came to town (with Bill himself leading the troupe), specifically it landed at The Matthew Flinders for the Vic Grand Final Night. Advertised to start at 7pm, the Venue was a-buzzing by 6.15pm the time I got there, and not a seat / table left – it started at 7.10pm. They had to finish, remove all tables and chairs, for the Venue’s resident DJ and resident Band to start their show at 10pm. Fat chance of that I told everyone – what? with 20 finalists and 2 songs each!!??!! and guess what? they finished by 10.30pm – amazing!! We had the pleasure of the reigning Oz and Karaoke World Champ perform for us – Julie – who sang her 2007 winning number. For the karaoke, crowd peaked at 300+ (mind you, any less, for a Finals night, it would have been declared a failure!). By 10pm it swelled to 400+ with the disco / clubbing crowd adding to the throng. Queues for drinks, queues for food, standing room only - management must be extremely pleased with the results. The sound for the night was professionally pre-set, quality mics were in use for the night, all contestants provided their own discs – all the ingredients were there for a great karaoke night – and I was not disappointed.
