Hello all, i am a karaoke devotee & i go to several venues & in my travels i have found for the most part some very great venues & a vast number very good singers, I am not a person who chases karaoke comps but have been to quite a lot of them. my particular place which i do attend most Friday nights is Chatswood RSL it is a very inexspense place to both have a meal buy whatever amount of booze anyone would consume with commonsense & it has a extra large song list but what gets me is it starts at 8pm goes through till 1 am with 10 names drawn of of a barrell which 2 sometimes 3 of those 10 go on to a finals night, now back to my point i have heard some people get there well after the start time & then sit waiting for a song some even get stropy either with bad thoughts of the place or bad mouth it to friends which is not good news not only for this venue but for Karaoke in general; i would sugest come early & join in the fun. I don't have anything bad to say i am only making a comment to help any imspiring talent as i do like to see new singers & at the same time support the club so come along it is always good to meet new people, So cheers from me. who is Roy.
