OK, it's a little difficult for me to be objective about the legendary Kelly's due to the fact that I virtually lived there for three months last winter and have trillions of great memories of the place (well, kind of - I can't actually remember a lot of it. But in a good way) Also, it's the only pub I've ever sung in regularly so I don't have much to compare it to. But the Friday nights usually have a big crowd, the song selection is vast (although they don't have Harry Belafonte's Matilda, much to my chagrin), nobody heckles, the atmosphere is pretty buzzing, the beer's cheap and there are plenty of local nutters. One downside is that the 'stage' is at the front of the pub so everybody entering/leaving has to walk through the middle of it to get to the bar/out, but apart from that I would definitely recommend it.
