Yes, you may only get a couple of songs in on the night. Why is that? Because there are so many people who come here to sing and they are more than happy to get two songs on the night because it is totally worth the wait!!! So many people come to sing here because it is so well run with lightning fast singer changes with no time wasted and the sound is brilliant!! Those that are disappointed when Marco and Theresa cant make it and someone else is running the night, should actually think themselves very lucky indeed. Firstly, because if this were any other venue, they would just cancel the Karaoke on the night and you wouldnt get to sing at all!! At least here, they care enough about their patrons to at least make sure that if they want to sing, they can. Secondly, it reminds you of just how lucky the Knox Club is to have KJ's that are proffessional, who get to know their singers, are prepared, and fantastic at what they do. Sometimes people don't realize what they have till it's gone. One more thing, next time you get called up to sing, and it just so happens to be right after the best singer in the place; when you start to think "How am i supposed to follow that?" Spare a thought for the people who fill in for Marco and Theresa when they are not there. They are a very hard act to follow indeed!! So show the fill in's some courtesy and remember that it is all about having a fun night. And that goes for everyone.
