I would like to see how some of these knockers would run a show themselves.On average the Bandclub has 30 to 40odd singers.How do you manage to get people through the rota fairly without ANY complaints.Everyones name gets put down as they put their songs in(not by what time they walk into the club)After each singer is called up to the stage,Foster announces who will be next.Thats to get the next singer ready to get up to the stage with as little time lost as possible.Foster is not arrogant and neither is Joan,they are busy doing their job,Joan is always available to talk to you,she may have to say "can you hold on just a second please" while she finishes doing something,but she 's always there for people.They also try and get everyone at least two songs on the night,by having one old then one new singer when the list reaches 30 singers.NO ONE can be fairer than that.Buzzbee I've seen your other comment for another venue which I know has hardly any singers and thats what your probably used to.But this company is SO good that they do get a lot of singers and you like the rest of us ,do have to wait your turn.I think that,when many singers turn up week after week ,speaks for itself how good they are.And just the opposit for the venues that dont attract many singers.
