Kev's patter and music between singers keeps the night going, and with this gig soon coming up to its 6th year anniversary, Kev has become an insitution here. This is a very friendly gig with plenty of interaction between singers and audience, remembering that most is here to sing - therefore expect to sing 2 (or at the most 3) songs during the night. It would be easy to think of this as a pretty ordinary but pleasant gig, until it is compared with so many others that get so many things wrong - and then it become more apparent that Kev does run to a practiced formula that really works to give an enjoyable night for both singers and audience. Perhaps the secret of this gig is that it's Kev's hobby and passion, that on Wednesdays he's bringing his toys and coming out to play, and that his love of karaoke and hosting transfers to everyone there - but it's also important to recognise that he does all this with the professionalism and experience that results in a well run karaoke night.
