What was it that John Lennon sang - 'All we are saying is give peace a chance' (lol). Our debates were lively, but sorry I don't really want to go back ot them. It is nice to be able to 'chat' about things in common.
To 'Miss Mistletoe' - yes it is a cold day, but according to a friend of mine at the Weather Bureau, it is nothing out of the ordinary!!! It is just that a cold snap has gotten a bit further up the coast than it normally would and made the weather unseasonably cold, he assures me that it should start to warm up tomorrow and be back to around normal temperatures by the weekend. If you think this is bad, I can remember one freezing cold day about 11 years ago, a week before Christmas. The temperature got to 16 degrees C and it was pouring down rain as well as the cold wind. I remember it well as it was the day that I got my cat Holly, and as a result of standing in a cold doorway waiting for the vet to vaccinate her, I ended up with pneumonia!! So it is nothing unusual for the weather to turn cold at this time of year. Who knows, we could end up with a 'White Christmas'!!! We could end up with a stinker of a thunderstorm and it could hail and make it a white christmas.
I hope that everyone else is keeping warm, I have to go out and put in the winning ticket for tonight's Powerball. It is about time that I won something BIG!!!
